Excellence in Action: IB Diploma Results 2022

International Baccalaureate (IB) students at International School Bangkok (ISB) consistently score above the world average, with this year’s average diploma score of 36.1 being a full 4 points higher than the global average. 

Our High School (HS) IB students exemplified excellence in action with a 98% pass rate, 41% of IB candidates achieving a bilingual diploma, and 22% of candidates scoring 40 points or above. One student earned an outstanding perfect score of 45 points.

The HS faculty and ISB community are so proud of your achievements and successes during an extremely challenging time to be a high school student. You dealt with virtual school, time out of school because of illness, and other disruptions with a sense of positivity and hope that served you well in your final IB exams. Congratulations to the class of 2022 and all the best for your bright future!”

The graduating class of 2022 is now pursuing their passions at universities around the globe in over 20 countries studying everything from International Business, Kinesiology, Law, and Nursing to Music Therapy, Astrophysics, Engineering, and Fashion Design.

The IB Program at ISB

At ISB, the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) is a rigorous and demanding two-year program for high school students in grades 11-12. The IB program encourages students to ask challenging questions, learn how to learn, develop a strong sense of their own identity and culture as well as an ability to communicate with others from different countries and cultures.

Furthermore, our students are offered two paths to graduation: the full IB Diploma or a Personal Choice Diploma. This allows students to design their learning journey by taking a combination of IB and other courses. Regardless of which pathway they choose, all ISB students obtain a highly-respected ISB Diploma upon graduation and go on to attend prestigious universities around the globe.
