ISB Class of 2008 come home

    2008-Sat-Nite-1

On Friday, December 21 and Saturday, December 22 the ISB Class of 2008 held it’s ten-year reunion in Bangkok.  Impeccably organized by ’08 grads Ploy Urapeepatanapong and Lee Karatkul, upwards of 60 ISB alumni came together to reminisce and celebrate the ten years since their high school graduation.

    Trip down memory lane

The first event took place on campus and consisted of an assembly in the Chevron Theater, a tour of the school, and shopping at the newly renovated ISB Booster Hut.  The assembly had welcome remarks from Lee and Ploy, a short presentation by ISB Alumni Coordinator, Harold Albert, and short speeches from Erik Engebretsen, Jade Carter, and Kunal Bambawale.  While the school was ominously quiet due to the winter break, the campus tour highlighted the many new ISB features including the new Sports Complex, the Cultural Center building, and assorted upgraded school facilities.  The new Booster Hut was a real hit as the 2008 grads were able to stock up on assorted ISB memorabilia.  Dinner followed at the Vapor Restaurant in Nichada Thani.

    Senior Prom Relived

Saturday night was advertised as a Senior Prom Redux and it did not disappoint as the gorgeous French St. restaurant near the Oriental Hotel proved to be a wonderful venue.  The ISB grads dressed up a little bit and had a great night of dinner, drinks and music.

Many thanks to Ploy and Lee for their efforts and to all of the class of 2008 Panthers who attended this fantastic event.  To be certain, an amazing time was had by all!
