Transportation for all Members of the Family - International School Bus System

When considering international schools for your children, especially when you live in a city as large and congested as Bangkok, ensuring there’s a quality school bus transportation service is essential. 

At International School Bangkok (ISB), not only do we offer door-to-door school bus system for students, but there are also transportation options for parents.

School Bus Service for Students

At ISB, the safe and reliable Montri Transportation Company has been providing services for our students since 1976. 

They provide door-to-door services for students up to 50 kilometers away, giving you peace of mind when it comes to the dilemma of how your children are going to get to and from school. Each bus is air-conditioned, comfortable, and has a bus supervisor onboard to ensure a safe journey.  

Pick up times vary but see that students arrive before school and can leave immediately after school, or stay on campus for activities and sports, taking later afternoon buses home. 

There is an Elementary after-school activity bus which offers door-to-door service for students in Kindergarten to Grade 5. 

For students in Middle School and High School, there are additional school bus services later in the afternoon that travel on select main routes. Students will be dropped off at a designated, central point closest to their home. 

ISB Parent Transportation Service 

At ISB, we want to make getting to and from our campus a seamless process for both our students and our parents, which is why we have the Parent Shuttle Bus.

This service takes parents from ISB to downtown, and back. 

From Monday to Friday, the shuttle runs from ISB to the Emporium Suites in the morning and the afternoon. The shuttle bus runs on Saturday, too!

Many parents use this bus to get to work in the city, or parents living in town use it to come to school events, such as PTA events or Parent-teacher conferences.

Nichada Thani Buses

Nichada Thani also offers a shuttle bus service. They run a daily shuttle to downtown Bangkok and they also offer individual buses for parents to get directly to their offices, where there are more than 5 parents working for one company.

Commute Times

Our student buses collect early, and reach campus within 30 minutes to 1 hour, depending on the pick up location. The after school buses take an average of 1 hour and the activities buses take between 40 minutes and 1.5 hours, provided there is no major disruption to traffic in the 

A commute into the city from Nichada can be anywhere from 30 minutes to 1 hour. 

Long periods spent in vehicles is a part of life in Bangkok but at ISB, we try to reduce this wherever possible.
