ISB Launches Vibrant New Website: isb.ac.th

The International School Bangkok (ISB) is delighted to announce the launch of its new website, which is set to enhance the user experience for both current and prospective families.

Inspired by Bangkok

Visitors will see familiar Bangkok landmarks on the skyline motif, which was inspired by the often beautiful, golden sunrises over Greater Bangkok. The design demonstrates the luscious tropical location of ISB, with the cityscape of Bangkok in the distance - the perfect combination for an expansive, innovative school with a healthy environment, located just outside the city.

"We're excited to launch our new ‘black and gold’ website and offer our families and visitors a more seamless and informative online experience," said Dr. Andy Davies, ISB's Head of School. "We believe the new site will make it easier for families to learn about all that ISB has to offer and to stay up-to-date on the latest news and events."

Inclusive Design

The new website was designed with accessibility in mind, ensuring that all users can easily navigate and access the site's content. The site is fully responsive, meaning it adapts to any screen size, whether it's a desktop, tablet, or mobile device. Visitors will also see new ISB panthers adorning the pages, with one panther for each Division. Occasionally, the panthers join together to demonstrate the unity and collaboration we enjoy at ISB, from Pre-K ‘cubs’ all the way to the leaping, ‘heritage’ panther of the High School, which was modeled on the original panther mascot from the 1960s. 

"We wanted to create a website that was not only visually appealing but also functional and accessible to everyone," said Mrs. Harriett Gething, ISB's Director of Marketing, Communications and Alumni. "We believe the new site, built with the leading school website company Finalsite, accomplishes that and more, and we're excited to share it with our community."

A Modern Site for A Modern World

The redesigned website features a modern layout and intuitive navigation, making it easy to find information about the school's academic programs, extracurricular activities, admissions process, and more. The new site also includes multimedia elements such as videos, photos, and a 360-degree campus tour, allowing visitors to get a better sense of the ISB community and facilities, no matter where they are in the world. One such element is the innovative ‘Ask ISB’ feature which can be found on the home page, where members of our community - students, a Principal, and a parent - answer questions about our academic program, our extracurricular opportunities, and the community itself.
